About the role:
We’re looking for a Senior HR Advisor who is passionate about talent acquisition to join our team for a one-year maternity leave contract!
Reporting to the HR Director, you’ll be one of two team members driving full-cycle recruitment, working closely with hiring managers to attract top talent and ensure a seamless hiring process. However, you won’t just run recruitment—you’ll elevate it. As the lead on talent acquisition, you’ll drive continuous improvements that enhance hiring processes, increase efficiency, improve the candidate experience, and enable smarter hiring decisions.
You’ll lead the integration of AI and other tools into our sourcing, selection and hiring workflows, while also optimizing our recently implemented recruitment system (Greenhouse) to maximize efficiency, reporting, and the overall hiring experience. Above all, you’ll be a trusted partner to hiring managers, guiding them in making the best talent decisions for their teams.
In partnership with the HR Director, you’ll also shape and lead key talent acquisition projects. Potential upcoming initiatives may include: developing and implementing DEI hiring initiatives, implementing offer letter automation within our system, enhancing candidate assessments and technology, launching a referral program, and enhancing employer branding and advertising, including refreshing our careers page.
At Destination Canada we’re passionate about HR done right- smart, strategic, and people-focused. If you’re ready to elevate talent acquisition and make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you!
