Emergency Tools and Resources

While management of emergencies is the responsibility of the provinces and territories, helping PTMOs support visitors impacted by the emergency, and ensuring communications are clear, authentic and accurate is a priority role for Destination Canada. Especially across our international markets.

Canada must be viewed as a safe and welcoming destination for all visitors, especially during these times of potential climate emergencies and volatile weather.

Sharing best practices from the tourism sector is key to preparing for emergencies.
